The Definitive Course on China's AI Landscape for Strategic Decision-Makers
The comprehensive 12-week course that transforms China AI complexity into actionable intelligence for investors, strategists, executives, policymakers, analysts, and advanced students
Start LearningThe reality is this:
Most China AI content falls into three traps:
Company Lists Without Context
You get names and funding rounds, but no framework for understanding why some succeed while others fail. Lists become outdated in months.
News Without Analysis
Headlines about "China's latest AI breakthrough" don't tell you what it means for your investment thesis, partnership strategy, competitive positioning, or model usage.
Academic Theory Without Application
Dense papers on AI policy are intellectually interesting but don't answer: “Should I use DeepSeek or Kimi?”, "Should I partner with Alibaba or ByteDance?" or "Which startups will survive consolidation?"
What You Actually Need
is a systematic framework that helps you:
Analyze any Chinese AI company in minutes (not weeks of research)
Predict market moves before they happen (regulatory shifts, consolidation, breakthroughs)
Make confident decisions backed by strategic intelligence (not guesswork)
That's Why We Built This Course.
Curriculum Snapshot
Built for Decision-Makers Navigating China's AI Landscape
If you're making strategic decisions about China's AI ecosystem or advising those who are, this course gives you the frameworks and intelligence you need.
Strategy Consultants & Analysts
Your Challenge: Clients ask, "Should we partner with Chinese AI companies?" or "How does China's AI landscape affect our competitive position?" You need systematic frameworks, not surface-level research.
What You'll Gain: The CFML Framework becomes your standard analytical tool. Map any Chinese AI company across 5 layers and 3 dimensions in 20 minutes. Brief clients with confidence using templates and decision frameworks built into the course. Three consultants in our founding cohort now use CFML in every China AI engagement.
Your ROI: One client project using these insights pays for the course 50x over. Plus, you differentiate from competitors still Googling "Chinese AI companies."
Investors & Venture Capitalists
Your Challenge: Chinese AI startups flood your inbox. Which have genuine moats vs. marketing hype? Which will survive the inevitable consolidation? How do Chinese big tech and startups affect AI companies in other markets? You can't afford $50K research subscriptions for every deal.
What You'll Gain: Survival probability assessment framework. Understand why 100+ Chinese LLMs will consolidate to 15-20 by 2027 and explore which ones are likely to make the cut. Deep-dives on 50+ companies (giants and startups) with honest capability assessments. Learn to spot red flags (single-customer dependency, unsustainable burn rates, no regulatory approval) and green flags (real differentiation, enterprise traction, strategic investor validation).
Your ROI: Avoid one bad investment or identify one winner, and this course pays for itself many times over.
Corporate Strategists & Executives
Your Challenge: Your CEO asks "What's our China AI strategy?" You're evaluating partnerships, monitoring competitive threats, or considering market entry. The stakes are high but clarity is low.
What You'll Gain: Strategic frameworks for partnership evaluation (Alibaba vs. Tencent vs. startups?), competitive intelligence (where are Chinese players strong/weak?), and risk assessment (regulatory, geopolitical, technology). Build your monitoring dashboard to track landscape shifts. Develop briefing materials for board presentations.
Your ROI: Make one better partnership decision or avoid one costly mistake. Get the confidence to present China AI strategy to leadership backed by systematic analysis, not gut feel.
Policymakers & Think Tank Professionals
Your Challenge: You need to understand China's AI capabilities for policy recommendations, competitive positioning analysis, or national security assessments. Academic papers are too theoretical; news is too shallow.
What You'll Gain: Comparative analysis (China vs. US vs. EU). Understand how China's regulatory framework shapes AI development differently. Assess where China leads and lags. Scenario planning for different geopolitical futures.
Your ROI: Authoritative analysis for briefings, white papers, and testimony.
Tech Founders & Product Leaders
Your Challenge: You're considering China partnerships, worried about Chinese competitive threats, or exploring market entry into China. You need to understand the technology landscape, not just business headlines.
What You'll Gain: Technical capability assessments (what Chinese LLMs can actually do vs. marketing claims). Deployment strategies (API, cloud, on-premise, edge). Competitive threat analysis (which Chinese AI companies could disrupt your market?). Partnership evaluation frameworks (build vs. buy vs. partner decisions).
Your ROI: Make informed build/partner/compete decisions. Understand where Chinese AI is genuinely ahead (deployment speed, specific applications) vs. where you maintain advantages (frontier research, ecosystem integration).
Advanced Students
Your Challenge: You're building expertise for a China-related career in strategy, policy, or investment. Academic courses give you theory; this provides practical frameworks that practitioners can use.
What You'll Gain: Portable analytical skills you'll use throughout your career. Deep understanding of 50+ companies. Internship/job interview advantage ("I can analyze Chinese AI companies systematically using a proven framework"). Network access to professionals in the field.
Your ROI: Career differentiation. Land roles at consulting firms, investment firms, or corporations that need China AI expertise.
